On June 19, the 2018 World Transport Conference (WTC) had a grand opening ceremony at the Beijing National Convention Center. Thousands of people from the industry at home and abroad gathered to discuss international exchanges and cooperation in the transport field. Li Xiaopeng, Minister of the Ministry of Transport, Huai Jinpeng, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Executive Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology, Liu Xiaoming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport, He Huawu, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Kiran K. Kapila, Chairman of the International Road Federation, and Minister of the Ministry of Transport of the Federal Republic of Nigeria among other leaders either delivered a speech or made a keynote report. A delegation of JSTI Group, including Chairman Fu Guanhua, President Li Dapeng, and Vice President He Xinghua, attended the opening ceremony.
