On May 25, 2018, the "China Modern Tramway Planning and Design Symposium", hosted by the Rail Transport Division of the China Civil Engineering Society and the Railway Division of the Jiangsu Comprehensive Transport Society and jointly organized by JSTI Group, Beijing Urban Construction Design & Development Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Urban Construction Design Research Institute Co. Ltd., was successfully held at the JSTI Nanjing Design Center. More than 120 domestic leaders, experts, and scholars, including those engaged in the planning and construction and design consultation of modern trams as well as those from scientific research institutions, attended the symposium.
