On April 26, the 9th China-US Transportation Forum themed “Transformation and Development of Transportation” was held in Beijing. Yang Chuantang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, and Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation, led their own delegations respectively to the forum. More than 180 representatives from government departments, enterprises, and scientific research institutes from China and the United States attended the forum. JSTI Chairman Fu Guanhua and Assistant for Foreign Affairs Morgan Edwards were invited to attend the forum and participate in the high-level policy dialogue.
