JSTI | TestAmerica Experts to Speak at Emerging Contaminants Summit

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, will participate in a panel on the topic of Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) at the upcoming Emerging Contaminants Summit in Westminster, Colorado. The panel, entitled PFAS Analytical Best Practices, is part of the conference’s Practitioner Workshop, and will be held on Wednesday, March 7 at 2:55 PM.
The Emerging Contaminants Summit focuses on the latest developments in the detection, fate and transport, risk assessment, treatment and regulation of emerging contaminants, such as PFAS. TestAmerica Technical Director and PFAS Expert, Karla Buechler, will serve as Session Chair for the PFAS Analytical Best Practices workshop, along with session Panelist and TestAmerica Product Manager, Taryn McKnight.
Ms. Karla Buechler has more than 30 years’ experience in the environmental testing industry, and is renowned in the industry for her knowledge on PFAS analytical practices and other chromatography systems, such as Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry. Working alongside Ms. Buechler, Taryn McKnight serves as TestAmerica’s PFAS Product Manager, providing technical guidance and support to clients, agencies and industry personnel across the country.
TestAmerica will also be exhibiting at the Emerging Contaminants Summit. TestAmerica’s booth, number 107 in the exhibitors section of the facility, will feature information and subject matter experts in the field of PFAS. TestAmerica’s PFAS analytical offering includes three laboratories offering PFAS testing by methods SW 846 Method 8321 and EPA Method 537, with certifications from a variety of state and federal agencies, including DoD SQM 5.1 accreditation.
