JSTI ∣ JSTI R&D Center recognized as a National Leader by the Ministry of Transport
JSTI's State Engineering Laboratory for New Road Materials has recently been recognized as one of the "Top 10 Innovation Platforms” by the Chinese Ministry of Transport at an annual meeting for national scientific & technology research platforms in the transportation sector. Furthermore, JSTI’s Director of the Long-Span Bridge Health Detection & Diagnosis Center, Dr Zhang Yufeng, was selected as one of the "Top 15 Innovative Individuals” by the Ministry of Transport, being recognised for his contribution to ever improving safety and monitoring standards for large scale bridge infrastructure.

A total of more than 300 people from the Department of Science & Technology of the Ministry of Transport, representatives of over 100 scientific and technological research platforms and seven industrial associations including China Highway & Transportation Society attended the meeting. JSTI Vice President, Chief Engineer and Director of the State Engineering Laboratory for New Road Materials, Cao Rongji, attended the meeting. JSTI Group was also chosen from a number of high profile national firms to organize and host the 2018 Joint Meeting.
