On December 28, 2017, the Inaugural Meeting & 1st Exchange Meeting of Alliance of the Jiangsu Steel Structure Bridge Industry (hereinafter referred to as the "Steel Structure Bridge Alliance") sponsored by JSTI Group, etc. under the coordination of the Steel Bridge Construction Leading Group of the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province was held in the JSTI Nanjing Design Center. Director Lu Yongquan and former Deputy Inspector Zhong Jianchi of the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province unveiled for the Steel Structure Bridge Alliance. Director Lu Yongquan made important instructions in the meeting. Deputy Director Ding Feng presided over the inaugural meeting.

Deputy Director Jin Ling presided over the technology exchange meeting and made a speech. More than 80 people from 41 organizations and departments including the Department of Transportation of Jiangsu Province, China Design Group Co., Ltd., Research Institute of Nanjing Iron and Steel Group Corp., China Railway Baoji Bridge Group, and Southeast University attended the meeting. Participants were from the entire industry chain of steel structure bridges covering scientific research, design, founding, testing, materials, processing, construction and maintenance, etc. JSTI Chairman of the Board Fu Guanhua, President Li Dapeng, Vice President Zhu Shaowei, and Deputy Director of the JSTI Testing & Research Institute Yang Yang attended the meeting.
