JSTI ∣ Eptisa supervises the upgrading works of the customs clearance and inspection facilities at the road Border Crossing Kjafasan in Macedonia

      On September, Eptisa started the implementation of the new EU awarded project in Macedonia named “Supervision of works for upgrade of the customs clearance and inspection facilities at the road Border Crossing Kjafasan”.

      The particular purpose of this assignment is overall supervision of the works contract for extension and upgrading the facilities by Eptisa, carrying out contract administration and management duties throughout the duration of the assignment in order to secure smooth and timely implementation, proper supervision and control of the whole project.

      Eptisa will also assist the Contracting Authority in administrative duties, including financial planning and preparation of cash flow forecasts on three-monthly basis. The works contract will be carried out in compliance with PRAG rules and procedures.

      The works at the road border crossing Kjafasan foresee the construction of:

      The project, funded by and implemented under the Delegation of the European Union, has a value of € 206,000 and an expected duration of 2 years and 3 months. Thanks to this project, the Eptisa’s position in the country as reliable and high-quality service provider in the field of supervision of construction works has been strengthened.

      In forthcoming years, Eptisa, through its branch office in Skopje, will ensure successful delivery of project’s results. Having managed more than 10 projects in Macedonia so far, Eptisa’s staff in Skopje office is looking forward to new achievements in the infrastructure sector and embedding new projects assets for the Company.
