On January 20th, the first meeting of the 14th Nanjing CPPCC was held in Nanjing. As a member of the Standing Committee for Jiangsu’s Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Party Branch, Zhang Jinghua made a speech titled "Building a Strong, Wealthy & Beautiful Nanjing". Vice Chairman of the JSTI Group Board, Wang Junhua attended the meeting as a member of the CPPCC and was elected as a team leader for civil construction, industry and commerce.

     The meeting reviewed and summarized the work of the Nanjing Standing Committee , the People’s government, People’s court and People’s Judiciary of Nanjing in 2017 and also their performance over the past five years. The meeting also set goals and targets for the economic, political, cultural, social and ecological civilization construction in Nanjing in 2018. The meeting also saw an election which chose new leaders for local administrative bodies responsible for enforcing the rule of law whilst also electing representatives to attend the 13th NPC of Jiangsu Province.
