From January 23rd-24th, the 12^th People’s Congress of Jiangsu Province was held in Nanjing. One of the primary functions of this year’s Congress was to recognize and elect new members of the Standing Committee, an administrative body that replicates the administrative structure in national government. 


     JSTI’s General Manager, Sun Wei, was re-elected to serve another term on the Congress, having already been elected on 3 consecutive occasions to serve on the People’s Congress and as a member of the Standing Committee. During her previous tenure, she has attended a number of national meetings a and conferences. She was recognized for exemplary performance in her duties, having written more than 60 proposals on traffic development and its impact on people's livelihood. General Manager Sunwei will continue to serve as a representative of the 13^th People’s Congress of Jiangsu.
