Recently, “the 9^th Idea-King International Landscape Planning and Design Conference along with the 2019 Annual Academic Meeting of Landscape Architecture Commission of Architecture and Culture Society of China” was held in Nanchang City of Jiangxi Province. Awarded Project Introduction
    The project of management of Lanhe River (in Taikang County, Zhoukou City of Henan Province) and comprehensive transformation of surrounding areas is located south on center area of Taikang County. Most parts of the project are east on Shihua Road, west on Yingbin Road, south on Weiyi Road and north on Tongtai Road. It is designed to cover an area of 278.7688 hectares and the total investment reaches CNY 1.7 billion.

      During the project design, JSTI Group East China (Zhejiang) Engineering Design Co., Ltd deeply explores the cultures of Dukang Liquor, Daoqing Opera and Xie Clan and integrates them into the project. Combined with the unique and blessed water resources of Lanhe River, the project gains its popularity from areas along the River and activates riverside spaces, which enables the lands along the River to reach their maximum premium.
 
      This project will help increase the quality of ecological environment in Taikang County. It releases the benefits brought by the comprehensive management of the River and creates venues of sports, culture, leisure and recreation for local people. The project will also help create the brand of ecological and cultural tourism and probing in opportunities of tourism development in Taikang County. Driving the ecological and cultural tourism industry, this project boosts the economic development of Taikang.
