JSTI｜【National Quality Engineering Award】 Transformation Project of South Dongfeng Road (Yongding Road to Nanjing-Nantong Highway) in Taizhou City Designed and Supervised by JSTI Group Wins Another Award
16-Mar-2020 Recently, the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management has released the list of projects winning the “2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Award”. Designed by JSTI Group Traffic Planning and Design Institute and supervised by JSTI Jiangsu Suke Construction Management Co., Ltd, the transformation project of south Dongfeng Road (Yongding Road to Nanjing-Nantong Highway) was included in the second list of “2018-2019 National Quality Engineering Award”.
The award is organized by the National Development and Reform Commission and is operated by the China Association of Construction Enterprise Management. It was founded in 1981 and is a part of the National Quality Product Award of the People’s Republic of China. This award is a cross-industrial and trans-disciplinary national honor with the earliest establishment and the highest standards in engineering and construction sector.
As an expressway connecting Hailing District, new district and Gaogang District, south Dongfeng Road in Taizhou City (Yongding Road to Nanjing-Nantong Highway) is an important north-south road in the plan of “3435” expressway network in Taizhou City. The project extends to old urban areas in Hailing District in the north and links to Nanning-Nantong Highway Taizhou part in the south. It is a major outbound road for old urban areas. This project improves the transportation and connection between Hailing and Gaogang Districts and develops the transportation which connects old urban areas with other regions.
JSTI Group is mainly responsible for early stage planning, scientific researching, engineering and designing, and other post construction services. By means of modularized and matrix management approaches in the construction and management, the project team successfully and effectively regulates the overall progress, quality and cost of the project.
JSTI Suke Construction undertakes the supervision of roads, bridges, various rainwater and sewage pipes, greening, traffic signs, intelligent traffic and other parts of the project in the first part (from east Fenghuang Road to south Zhoushanhe Bridge, and Yongding Road tunnel) of this project. During the process, JSTI Suke Construction ensures to achieve project construction targets by many ways including intervention before the project, inspection during the project, check and acceptance after the project, and sampling and testing.
“The transformation project of south Dongfeng Road (Yongding Road to Nanjing-Nantong Highway)” has won several awards and titles, such as the Demonstration Standardized and Civilized Construction Site of Taizhou City, the Demonstration Standardized and Civilized Construction Site of Jiangsu Province, the “Meilan Cup” Quality Engineering Award of Taizhou City, and the “Yangtze Cup” Quality Engineering Award of Jiangsu Province. In the future, adhering to high-quality development, JSTI will pursue excellence, continue innovating, keep making breakthroughs and creating more projects with superior quality.
