The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the World Band have awarded to consortium led by NTU International and EPTISA Servicios de Ingenieria as a member of it a new contract in Albania for the Road Safety Technical Assistance.The Technical Assistance is going to be implemented in period between January 2019 and October 2020. The signed value of works is 2.8 million EUR.

      EPTISA is going to create and build institutional capacities in three main organizations in Albania: Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Albanian Road Authority and Traffic police. The aim will be to include other related authorities as a part of Inter-Ministerial Committee (e.g. Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education) as well as to point necessity of private sector involvement (e.g. NGO's and private companies) to boost IMRSC Committee coordination in developing internal capacities and creating robust road safety management system for Albania.
 
      The focus of the work shall be on developing the skills in the named organizations and other IMRSC subjects including Albanian professionals so that they can undertake similar work in the future.
