From August 7 to 11, 2018, the Southern California Chinese American Environmental Protection Association held the "2018 Los Angeles Environmental Forum" in California, the United States. More than 150 environmental experts and scholars from around the world attended the forum. Wu Xiaoming, Deputy Director (in charge) of the Environmental Science Research Institute of JSTI Group, Member of the Board of Directors of TestAmerica (a U.S. environmental testing company) and Life Member of the Southern California Chinese American Environmental Protection Association, attended the forum. Karen Maxwell, Senior Account Manager of TestAmerica, gave a speech at the forum. Consul General Zhang Ping and Counselor Lyu Xianzhi of the Science and Technology Group of the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles, Zhou Benli, Member of California House of Representatives, Dr. Zhao Meixin, Member of United States House of Representatives, Liu Yunping, Member of United States House of Representatives, and California Senator Zhang Lingling sent congratulatory letters to the forum.
