Cooperation with Strong Partner to Jointly Explore International Market

  --JSTI Achieved Strategic Cooperation with SMEC of Australia

  On December 19, the ceremony for signing strategic cooperation agreement between JSTI and Australian SMEC Company was held in Jiangsu Plaza, Beijing. SMEC President Andy Goodwin and JSTI President Wang Junhua signed this agreement on behalf of SMEC and JSTI.

  JSTI President Wang Junhua delivered a speech in the signing ceremony. He extended warm welcome to SMEC President Andy Goodwin and his staff, expressed heartfelt thanks to SMEC's care about, support and help to JSTI, and introduced the development history of JSTI. He also wished the cooperation of both sides in various fields a complete success and hoped SMEC and JSTI to jointly explore international market through close cooperation. SMEC President Andy Goodwin also delivered a speech on this strategic cooperation and expected hand-in-hand cooperation between SMEC and JSTI in the future.

  SMEC is a professional company which provides high-quality consulting services for major infrastructure projects. Since its establishment, SMEC has completed thousands of projects in more than 80 countries and maintained a stable annual growth rate. In 2014, SMEC ranked 57 in ENR World Top 200 National Engineering Companies and ranked 76 in ENR World Top 150 Design Companies. Since the restructuring, JSTI has completed its market layout nationwide. For ten consecutive years, JSTI has been selected by ENR/Construction Times as “Top 60 Chinese Engineering Enterprises” and ranked 22 in 2014. In 2014, JSTI was nominated as ENR “Top 150 World Engineering Companies” for the first time and ranked 131. Through close cooperation with international renowned engineering consultant company, JSTI can improve its capability in designs for international projects.

  Both JSTI and SMEC expect to carry out cooperation and establish long-term close cooperative relationship in terms of design, consultation, and EPC-related projects in the field of global civil infrastructure, so as to achieve information sharing and complementary advantages, expand business scope and create opportunities for the development of both parties.
